\nPine Hollow Road turns off the county highway and winds east into a curve of low hills. I\u2019ve driven it a few thousand times over the course of my life. I grew up on the property at the end of it, left for a while, came back when my father got sick, and then just stayed after he was gone because that\u2019s what happens sometimes. The land holds you without asking.
