When Elliot finally came on the phone, his small voice shattered her heart instantly. Between sobs, he explained that he had asked to use the bathroom while the family was leaving the park. His grandparents became irritated because they were already late for their dinner reservation, and Claire complained that he was ruining the schedule. Elliot said Grandpa told him to hurry while they waited outside. But when he came back a few minutes later, they were gone. At first he thought they were playing a joke, but after searching through crowds of strangers, he realized they had actually left him behind.<\/p>\n
