A little girl walked into our bakery holding hands with an old man. She looked nervous while he kept telling her, \u201cYou can pick any cake you want.\u201d Something felt wrong, so I quietly asked her if she knew him. She shook her head no, and I immediately pulled her behind me, ready to call 911.<\/p>\n
The man quickly stepped back and raised his hands. He explained that he had found the girl crying alone outside a grocery store after she became separated from her mother in the crowd.
