Regifted Cactus Reveals Unwanted Surprise

“I was regifted a plastic cactus figurine by a coworker. When I was going to bed, I accidentally kicked the cactus over and found a spy cam inside.

At this dinner, Susan and Greg ordered $200 worth of food, while I just ordered a $4 drink. When the check came,

Greg tried to split it six ways, but I reminded him it should only be three ways since three of us hadn’t eaten.

Dan, who had eaten about $50 worth, was shocked to get stuck with a $146.98 bill.

I left a $10 tip and walked out. The next day, Greg and Susan texted me, calling me an AH for not ordering food,

while Dan was upset I’d caused him trouble. I explained that Dan could’ve asked them to pay him back,

but he always enables their behavior. I admit it was a petty move, but I’m tired of being dragged into their schemes.
