He dismissed her concerns, saying it didn’t matter because it was “their house now” and that “people don’t need the math.” To Kisha, it wasn’t about numbers—it was about recognition, respect, and honesty. When she explained how much she had sacrificed, he became defensive, accusing her of overreacting and turning it into an unnecessary conflict.

The conversation escalated into an argument, with her husband raising his voice and insisting she was making it a “hill to die on” before storming out and cutting off communication.
