Abigail, known as Abby, shared an unbreakable bond with her grandmother Rosie, the woman who raised her after her mother died when she was six years old. Grandma Rosie had always been lively, sharp, and full of stories, which is why Abby became alarmed when her grandmother suddenly grew distant after joining a new senior center called Sunshine Senior Center.
