The Stranger Behind the Shower Curtain..

After an exhausting day at work, I finally arrived home hoping for a quiet evening and a chance to relax. The house looked normal at first — the soft glow of the living room lamp filled the apartment, and the television played faintly in the background. My boyfriend, Matt, was asleep on the couch, which immediately struck me as unusual because he always greeted me at the door. Though something felt off, I ignored the uneasy feeling and headed to the bathroom, thinking a warm shower might help me unwind.

The moment I stepped into the bathroom, I froze in terror. Behind the shower curtain, I could clearly see the outline of someone moving. My heart began pounding so hard I could barely breathe. Fear rushed through me as I slowly backed away, trying to convince myself I was imagining things. Panicked, I shouted for Matt, but before I could react further, the shower curtain suddenly flew open.

Standing there was a man I had never seen before. Water dripped from his body as he stepped out of the shower, completely calm while I stood there horrified. I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran out of the bathroom in complete panic. My mind raced as I rushed toward the living room where Matt had just woken up, confused by the chaos. “There’s someone in our room!” I cried, barely able to speak through the fear.

The moment Matt realized I was serious, his face turned pale. Without hesitating, he grabbed my arm and pulled me toward the front door. His voice shook as he urgently told me, “Get to the car, lock the doors, and call 911 now!” Adrenaline surged through both of us as we ran outside, realizing that someone had somehow entered our home without us knowing. In that terrifying moment, our ordinary evening turned into a nightmare that changed the way we thought about safety forever.
