Emily Carter secretly joined her estranged husband Nathan Halstead’s company under her maiden name, Emily Brooks, to investigate troubling rumors surrounding his business. Vanessa was arrested, several senior employees resigned, and the company began rebuilding. While Emily learned Nathan had not been unfaithful, the experience exposed deeper issues in both the company and their marriage. With the lies finally uncovered, they were left to decide whether honesty could become the foundation for a new beginning.
