The Hospital Encounter He Could Never Explain..

One of my close friends worked nights at a hospital, helping care for patients, making beds, and assisting wherever he was needed. One day, he suddenly quit without warning and refused to tell anyone why. For weeks, he avoided every question until he finally agreed to explain what had happened during one unforgettable shift.

Late one night, he heard a nurse urgently shouting for help because a patient had gone into cardiac arrest. Without hesitation, he sprinted down the hallway toward the emergency. As he turned the corner, a man rushed toward him so quickly they nearly collided. The stranger looked frightened and yelled, “Where’s the exit?” My friend instinctively pointed him in the right direction before continuing to the patient’s room.

When he reached the room, he froze in disbelief. The patient lying on the bed—the man doctors and nurses were desperately trying to save—was the exact same person who had just run past him in the hallway asking for the exit. The resemblance wasn’t just similar; according to my friend, it was unmistakably the very same man.

Despite every effort by the medical team, the patient died only moments later. My friend never found an explanation for what he had experienced, but the incident haunted him so deeply that he couldn’t continue working at the hospital. Whether it was a trick of the mind, an extraordinary coincidence, or something he could never understand, that night stayed with him long after he walked away from the job.
