An Oklahoma City liquor store sparked strong debate after posting a sign at the entrance demanding customers pull up their sagging pants or be denied entry. Store management defended this controversial decision, stating that too many patrons arrived with their pants hanging low enough to expose their underwear and bodies, which they consider offensive and lacking in manners.
Beyond concerns over public morality and etiquette, store employees emphasized that this style of
dress also poses a clear security risk. According to them, sagging pants make it much easier for wrongdoers to conceal and steal liquor bottles inside their clothing.
