When the Glacier Crest HOA offered $25,000 for four acres of my family’s Aldridge Ranch, I refused, knowing the HOA had allowed an expensive cabin to be built there without proper permits or surveys. My attorney uncovered a fraudulent plat, while further investigations led to the resignation of a county surveyor. The dispute escalated when an alleged bribery attempt was recorded and Trent Crawford was caught trespassing on my property while attempting to damage my equipment.A judge ultimately ordered the illegal cabin removed. After securing the necessary permits, my crew and I demolished the structure and removed the unauthorized dock, restoring the land. The HOA was later ordered to pay more than $304,000, while those involved faced criminal consequences. Instead of keeping the settlement, I used the money to create the Aldridge Trade Academy, giving local young people opportunities to learn skilled trades and build better futures.
