The company receiving repeated transfers from Dad wasn’t a coincidence—it was connected to a scheme involving hidden payments and falsified contracts.
Dad called me two days later, suddenly calm and apologetic. He claimed the argument had been a misunderstanding and asked me to come home so we could “work everything out.” I didn’t go.
