In Strasburg, Colorado, three-year-old Bridger was staying with his 78-year-old great-grandmother, Sharon Lewis, when she suddenly
fell hard in her yard on a dark February night, leaving her unable to get up. They called for help, but no neighbors heard them, and Sharon’s phone was locked inside a car across the yard. Bridger was terrified of the darkness,
but knowing his great-grandmother needed him, he bravely pushed past his fear, crossed the dark yard, and retrieved the phone so help could be reached. When his family later reviewed the security-camera footage, they discovered the incredible act of courage their little boy had shown.
