I was giving away clothes for a 2–3-year-old girl when a woman messaged me, explaining that her daughter had nothing to wear and asking if I could send the clothes by post. At first, I wanted to refuse, but I thought, “Who knows what they’re really going through?” So I sent her all the clothes at my own expense. A year later, I received an unexpected package from that same woman filled with nuts, dried fish, homemade marmalade, and other goodies. She explained that their difficult period had finally ended, her husband had found a good job, and she wanted to thank everyone who had helped her family when they were struggling.
