Nine-year-old Albie-Junior Thomas, who had his left leg amputated at 15 months due to a congenital limb condition, has completed the National Three Peaks Challenge by climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)—the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales—in just 22 hours and 30 minutes. Guided by his father Daniel, a running coach, Albie-Junior tackled nearly 23 miles of walking and over 3,000 meters of elevation on his blade prosthesis, fueled by ham and cheese sandwiches and sour candies through challenging, slippery descents. Having previously set a record at age 4 as the youngest amputee to climb Snowdon, Albie-Junior and his family are now awaiting official record confirmation from Guinness World Records as he continues his pursuit of one day competing as a British Paralympic athlete.
