After six years with the company, I was fired without warning, and the next day my former boss sent an email titled, “Let This Be a Lesson.”
I assumed it was a criticism, but a coworker later showed me the message: my boss had resigned, condemning the company for treating a loyal employee without dignity. Before leaving, he had also personally recommended me for a position at another company, opening a door I never expected.
What felt like the end of my career became a new beginning, reminding me that genuine integrity and kindness can make a lasting difference.
