Some cars have a hidden way to close the windows even when the ignition is off, using the window switches on the driver’s door.
Press and hold both front-window buttons in the “up” position for several seconds, and on compatible models the windows may begin closing.
Keep holding until they are fully shut, but remember that this feature is not available on every make or model.
It can be especially useful when rain suddenly starts, you forget a window, or the keys aren’t immediately available.
