At just 13 years old, Zac Waters of Lehi, Utah, spent about 300 hours designing and building a custom 3D-printed wheelchair for a 21-month-old girl with disabilities. Inspired by his love of 3D printing and the work of MakeGood, a nonprofit creating assistive devices, Zac printed, tested, and assembled the wheelchair himself. His family supported him throughout the project, but Zac’s motivation was simple: use something he loves to help someone in need.READ MORE BELOW
