What was meant to be a joyful birthday celebration turned into a nightmare when little Lily reached innocently into the cooler for a soda, provoking her grandfather’s furious, unhinged wrath. Enraged by what he saw as disrespect, the man struck the toddler with his leather belt, sending her crashing unconscious against the tiled floor right beside the birthday cake. While guests watched in horror from the patio, Lily’s father frantically called for an ambulance and her mother rushed to cradle her bleeding head, pressing a towel to keep the child conscious.
