The Kindness of the Person I Hurt..

After a car accident left my six-year-old daughter, Lily, blind, guilt consumed me, and my husband eventually left with her.
Three years later, the girl involved in the crash appeared at my door, carrying a cassette of Lily laughing, reading Braille, and asking for her mom.
She revealed that she had forgiven me long ago and had found Lily, bringing me a drawing that read “Mom” and a message of hope.
Through her extraordinary kindness, I learned that even after unbearable pain, forgiveness can heal hearts, and love can find its way home.
