A lifelong champion of workers’ rights and civil rights has passed away at the age of 96. For more than 70 years, she fought for farmworkers’ fair wages, safer conditions, and dignity. Her powerful slogan, “Sí, se puede” (“Yes, we can”), inspired generations of activists worldwide. The legendary labor leader was Dolores Huerta.
