This classic ground beef and gravy over mashed potatoes is an affordable, hearty meal the whole family will love. Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef, 1 chopped onion, 2 tbsp butter, 2 tbsp flour, 2 cups beef broth, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, seasonings, 2 lbs potatoes, 4 tbsp butter and ½ cup warm milk. Mashed potatoes: Boil peeled, chopped potatoes for 15–20 minutes, drain, then mash with butter, warm milk, salt and pepper. Beef and gravy: Brown beef with onion, add butter and flour, then stir in broth, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Simmer for 4–6 minutes until thick, then serve over mashed potatoes.
