While staying at an old motel with his wife and baby, a father wakes around 3 a.m. to a chilling whisper: “Now, we’re finally even! You’ll suffer as I have!” Terrified, he turns on the light and rushes to his baby’s crib, only to find it covered in hundreds of white feathers. Even more disturbing, his baby is now sleeping with his head facing the door, although his parents remember putting him down differently. When he wakes his wife, they discover a mysterious note placed between them on the bed that reads, “Your baby should sleep between you.” Shaken by the unexplained events and fearing for their child’s safety, the couple immediately gathers their belongings, gets into their car, and flees the motel, determined never to return.
