Ashley Biden posted an update from hospital…

Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe Biden, has issued an update from hospital relating to her father’s treatment for cancer.

In May of this year, the former POTUS announced that he had been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer, revealing at the time that he was pursuing several treatment options.

The discovery was reportedly made after the 82-year-old reported urinary symptoms, leading to doctors finding a small nodule on his prostate.

“Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms,” Biden’s office said in a statement.

“On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.

“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.”

Earlier this week, a spokesperson for Biden’s team offered a rare update on his battle with the illness, revealing that the 82-year-old was receiving radiation therapy as part of his treatment plan, as well as hormone treatment.
