In a heartbreaking incident on October 13, 2025, eight family members from Gwinnett County, Georgia lost their lives in a devastating crash on Interstate 85 in Jackson County.
The victims, including three adults and five children, were heading to Tanger Outlets when their Dodge Grand Caravan was struck from behind by a tractor-trailer, causing a chain reaction and deadly fire.

Authorities have arrested the truck driver responsible, who faces multiple charges. The incident is currently under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the Georgia State Patrol.
