With heavy hearts Our prayers for the Springsteen family. ❤️ Tragic details in the comments below.

Patti Scialfa, Bruce Springsteen’s wife and E Street Band member, revealed in the documentary Rock Diary: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band that she’s been battling multiple myeloma since 2018.

The diagnosis has limited her ability to tour, affecting her immune system and making it necessary for her to step back from performing regularly.

Despite the challenges, she occasionally joins Springsteen for a few shows.

Scialfa has also focused on spending time with her granddaughter, Lily, and working on her solo album. Meanwhile, Springsteen has faced his own health issues, including treatment for peptic ulcer disease and vocal problems, leading to postponed tour dates.

Our thoughts are with Patti as she continues her battle with cancer.
