Jimmy Kimmel Live! is set to return to ABC on Tuesday night, less than a week after the host was suspended for comments regarding the killing of Charlie Kirk. Disney, ABC’s parent company, confirmed the show’s return, explaining that

production had been paused to avoid further inflaming a tense situation during an emotional time for the country. Kimmel had faced criticism after stating

that “the MAGA gang” was attempting to portray the suspect in Kirk’s assassination “as anything other than one of them.
