I’ve always believed that trust should come before suspicion, especially when it comes to parenting. My daughter is fourteen now — that in-between age where independence starts to matter deeply and privacy feels like something to protect at all costs. I’ve never wanted to be the kind of parent who hovers, snoops, or assumes the worst.I want my home to feel safe.
And more than that, I want my daughter to feel safe being herself in it.
